James L.
Over
Chicago, Illinois-based soul/r&b songwriter and producer, best known for his in-house work at Mar-V-Lus Records and with Syl Johnson. Often associated with publisher Vapac/Vapac Music & variations. Most of his credits read "Jimmy Jones", this entry is to alleviate confusion with the New York-based artist (of "Handy Man" fame) and the Chicago-based jazz arranger (Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, etc.) of the same name.
