Audrey Chen and Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø blend trombone and voice with fragility and control, touring Europe, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, and the US since 2015. Chen, classically trained in cello and voice, pursues non-linear storytelling; Nørstebø explores the trombone’s loud and microscopic sounds. Marielle Groven’s debut solo album Sur l'bord draws on her Acadian heritage, mixing traditional folk, Celtic, and old-time fiddle music from eastern Canada, inspired by Henry Flynt’s experimental work.
