Coaster is the slowcore project of Bart Appel and Paul Dijkman, two guitarists who bonded over calm, slow-paced music. Rooted in 1990s and 2000s lo-fi and slowcore, they draw from Duster, Red House Painters, Low, and Elliott Smith. Their sound blends intimate, melancholic songwriting with dreamy indie rock and understated storytelling, capturing quiet, fleeting moments.
