Film Without Image in Rotterdam

Over dit evenement

Koda presents Film Without Image, a first edition that swaps watching for listening. Two scores by Academy Award-nominated composer Mica Levi take center stage: Under the Skin and Monos. Their surreal compositions blur the line between music and sound design, becoming part of the film’s very DNA. Rotterdam director Roel van Beek hosts the evening, guiding the audience through audio storytelling. To close, Just Felix spins a DJ set built from his favorite soundscapes — eclectic selections from the Brit who now calls the Netherlands home. He’s also part of Orse Audio, a soundsystem collective that treats speakers as space-makers, shaped by sound and performance for the communities that bring them to life.
