Born in Siberia and based in France, Katya Shirshkova creates hypnotizing polyphonic harmonies for voice. For Minorie she performs 'Le Héron' (Stellage, 2025), a vocal-only piece in four parts, each symbolizing a life period through bird archetypes from folklore. Her one-voice-one-looper choir produces hauntingly layered sound. This is her first performance in the Netherlands. A collaborative album with Roxane Métayer (Edições CN, 2026) follows.
