As part of the acclaimed Le Guess Who? festival, and as a prelude to the rest of the day, dB's presents an early afternoon with none other than BLEAK SQUAD, a lineup that rightly deserves the title of supergroup, because with Mick Turner (Dirty Three, Mess Esque), Mick Harvey (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey, The Birthday Party), Adalita (Magic Dirt) and Marty Brown (Art of Fighting) there's quite a bit of pop history on stage. Noir rock in the best Australian tradition. Dark & elegant. Opening act is fellow Australian singer-songwriter Jess Ribeiro. Jess Ribeiro 2:30 PM on stage, Bleak Squad 4:00 PM.
