Milkshake Festival is an open-minded electronic dance festival that has taken place yearly at de Westergas in Amsterdam since 2012. It shows that entertainment, music choice and choice of clothing have nothing to do with status, gender or sexuality, with stages showcasing (inter)national artists and performers across electronic, house, disco, pop, techno, R&B and dancehall. The festival celebrates diversity in skin colours, body shapes, sexual preferences and gender identities. WestWeelde hosts three areas during Milkshake Festival.
