Over dit evenement
5/50Duo of Sebastiaan and Ruud (a teacher and a doctor) who met through the second-hand Eurorack market and immediately recognized a kindred spirit in one another. They share a similar approach to both gear and live performance, viewing Eurorack less as a programming environment designed to achieve a predetermined result and more as an instrument that requires practice, skill, and continual exploration. Both walk the fine line between improvisation and structure, creating performances that remain engaging, coherent, and surprising. Always eager to exchange ideas, teach, and learn from others, they founded Eurorack Clinic at the end of 2024 as a platform for organizing events, sharing knowledge, and bringing together like-minded musicians and enthusiasts. Roberto AuserRoberto Auser is a Dutch artist and renegade designer (real name Derk Reneman) whose music moves between suspenseful synthesizer soundtracks, obscure 80s-tinged ambient and minimal electronics, and pounding electro and industrial techno. Each work is a chapter in a futuristic mythology told through what he calls audiographics. His aliases include The Wheel of Rituals, Bardar, Silver Age People and Kaval. A regular at Intergalactic FM Festival since its first edition, he performs live on modular synthesizer. Sybren DanzOld school rave, the Commodore Amiga and SL1210’s are his early influences. Later on those became the Akai MPC and hardware synths which are still there to this day, the synths now partly DIY and modular after his years at STEIM. Listen to his track Dizzit here.
